SpikeSource Joins Open Source Development Labs
BEAVERTON, Ore. and REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- SpikeSource, an open source IT services company, today announced it is joining the Open Source Development Labs (OSDL), a global consortium dedicated to accelerating the adoption of Linux(R) in the enterprise. Participation in OSDL initiatives will allow SpikeSource to collaborate with other members by sharing information and expertise on the latest open source projects, stacks, applications, system management tools, patches and bugs. SpikeSource's mission is to become a trusted partner to open source developers and enterprises for the testing, certification and support of open source software interoperability. The company supports enterprise open source adoption by certifying and testing infrastructure components, including Linux, Apache, MySQL, Tomcat, JBoss, Axis, and Hibernate, and providing updates, management tools and technical support services.
