HP touts four-in-one Linux PC

The machine is aimed at education, but could be attractive to businesses as well. With new PCs offering more computing power than a single user needs for basic work such as exploring the Internet or creating documents, Hewlett-Packard Co. is now pushing a desktop machine that includes four monitors, keyboards and mice. The Mandrakelinux-equipped machine can be used by four users at one time.

I've been using $199.00 (+ $109 monitor = $308) Linux PC's from Wal-mart and Amazon as X terminals on my client's networks. Reliability has been very good, and I don't have to tether 4 users together. These units are probably up to acting as X terminals for 4 workstations, so if I did want to do the same thing with them, I guess I could do it for about $170 per workstation.

Might make an interesting project anyway. :-)
