ReactOS is an open-source Operating System designed to be compatible with Windows NT. Version 0.2.8 sees the culmination of months of work since 0.2.7, and sees the project coming closer to the long-awaited 0.3.0 release.

[For those of you who just can't do without your Windows NT. The psyche_eval package is sold separately. Hey, at least ReactOS is libre! - Ed]

Great that someone is working on an open version of NT, but, that MS ad is really Just 'WRONG'!

Hell will freeze over if these people achieve their goals.

I can't picture Microsoft not coming down on this with a ton of lawsuits. Of course, I think it's a noble goal, nonetheless.

If MS wants to help pay for the development of this effort, I say fine. It's not like they actually placed it there...gotta love ad sense.
