Note that conectiva has merged with Mandriva and is no longer produced as a separate Distro.

3:59 PM EST 		This is an ancient thread. You should go to the Linux forum (click forums on the top navigation bar of LXer.com) and start a thread there.

Also, do a search on this site for Mandriva.

1:09 AM EST 		Not to perpetuate an old thread, I actually have a copy of the conectiva 10.0 and find it to be a great live cd. It has a beautiful interface and is nvidia ready out of the box. Makes me wonder why Mandriva did not go more in this direction with the merger.
