I use Firefox, but lately it's really beginning to get on my nerves. Regardless if I have all the extensions I like installed or zero extensions installed, the browser continues to hog CPU. And I've tried all the suggestions/hints/band-aid solutions that are offered in their forums. If this sort of behavior continues, then that market share is going to be severely impacted. As a Linux user we have many choices as far web browsers. But Opera and Konqueror don't always cooperate for many webpages (which yes I fully understand that if they'd write good code the pages would render correctly in any browser!). It's my observation that a majority of Linux users browse the web with Firefox. Why then is Mozilla dragging their feet to recognize, comment, and fix Firefox for us???!!! |
