If you get worked up every time Microsoft runs an advertising campaign unkind to Linux you will never get any sleep. Relax. People expect companies to advertise. People take advertsing with a grain of salt. People who don't should not reproduce, and probably have more to worry about in their lives than Linux. |

It would be an interesting study if performed, but I think you could make a convincing case that advertising no longer works on the majority of the people in the US. Growing up with radio and television ads seems to greatly reduce their effectiveness in later life. |
