Try this: In Google, type 'windows 2008 is superior to linux' without quotation marks. My first result (google redirects me to google.nl though) is: OSWeekly.com - Why Mac OS X Is Superior to Linux and Windows |

Well, then I guess Windows 2008 just isn't superior to Linux anyway. If it was true, Google should have found the resources proving it, not? It almost makes me want to abuse our Google rating by typing "Discover how FooBar, Europe's largest retailer found Red Hat Linux has a 40% lower TCO than Microsoft Windows Server 2008" here for more than hundred times, and then see what Google finds for me tomorrow if I type the same again. |

I just looked at the LXer statistics, and "Windows 2008 is superior to Linux" is now one of the most important Google searches linking to LXer. Unbelievable Google has a higher market value on the stock market than IBM in my opinion, but again, who am I? |

Considering the statement made by the phrase being linked by Google, someone really ought to start using the phrase "Linux is superior to Windows 2008". After all, we really want Google to index "Linux is superior to Windows 2008" as much or more than the other phrase. And furthermore, if someone stumbles upon the other phrase, then they may search for "Linux is superior to Windows 2008" as well. And, if they do, we don't want "Linux is superior to Windows 2008" lacking on this thread. Do we? Oh, as an aside, I actually believe that Linux is superior to Windows 2008. |
