A Valve developer has released a tool to debug AMD graphics cards on Linux

Andres Rodriguez sent in a message to the mesa-dev mailing list announcing 'gputool' for debugging AMD graphics cards on Linux. It's also open source under the GPL, so that's awesome.

This is quite an amazing little fix. Marek sent in a patch for Mesa that fixes a bug that has apparently been an issue for around 9 years.

The developers of Cossacks 3 have now put up an official forum post on Steam about the Linux version. They say it will be officially available in the second half of October.

Fusion 3, the next generation game engine and editor from Clickteam will support Linux

Clickteam are the company behind some really cool tools like Fusion, previously called Multimedia Fusion. They did an AMA today where a developer noted their Fusion 3 editor is running on Linux and other platforms.
