Running ownCloud3 On Nginx (LEMP) On Debian Squeeze/Ubuntu 11.10
This tutorial shows how you can install and run ownCloud3 on a Debian Squeeze or Ubuntu 11.10 system that has nginx installed instead of Apache (LEMP = Linux + nginx (pronounced "engine x") + MySQL + PHP). ownCloud enables universal access to files through the widely implemented WebDAV standard, providing a platform to easily view and sync contacts, calendars and bookmarks across devices while supporting sharing, viewing and editing via the web interface. It offers the ease-of-use of Dropbox and box.net without vendor lock in. ownCloud users can run its file sync and share services on their own hardware. nginx is a HTTP server that uses much less resources than Apache and delivers pages a lot of faster, especially static files.

Linux Mint 12 KDE review
So we moved from Linux Mint 10 KDE to Linux Mint 12 KDE because Linux Mint 11 KDE did not make it out of the developer’s box.
Being based on Ubuntu Desktop, Linux Mint shares many of that distribution’s features. Other than changes in software and kernel versions, there are very few new features in this release, so rather than go through the usual review drill, I will concentrate purely on usage experience.

6 Reasons Why Windows 8 Tablets Are Not A Threat To Android
Microsoft has lost the mobile war. The disappointing performance of Windows Phone even after two years of its release is evident that the market has moved on. Microsoft's last bet is Nokia which dropped all of its own open source projects and promising OS such as MeeGo to become a hardware delivery truck for Microsoft's Mobile OS.
Nokia used to have a very strong position in the Asian market and Microsoft wanted to get a free ride of that popularity. Which again is the indication that people won't go to buy a Windows phone they will be looking for a Nokia Phone. That leaves on to wonder what is going to be the future of Windows 8 Tablet.

Adventures in Self-Publishing, Ch. 9: How to Price your Book – and Does it Matter?
[I wanted to be sure you saw this, as you've already run the first 8 chapters]
This week we’ll talk about how to come up with the “right” price for your book in each of the formats in which you plan to make it available (eBook, soft, and/or hardcover). By “right” price, I mean a price that will make more, rather than fewer, people actually buy your book. My challenge will be to convince you that the title you see above makes sense.
