Governments change and ministers come and go with barely enough time to master the jargon. Public policy is quietly made in private, and while the media focuses on the elected government, the real one, our bureaucracy, quietly goes about its business. How true is this, really?

Greg KH is not happy with Gnome 3. When I met him during LinuxCon and interviewed him (the interview is coming soon), and asked about Gnome 3, he said he was still running Gnome 2. Now, he has tried Gnome 3 and he is not a happy user. He was not as 'harsh' as was Linus Torvalds when he called Gnome 3 Shell a holy mess and said someone should fork it.

Desura Linux client is now out of beta after being in testing for more than 2 months. The final build can now be downloaded from Desura website. The Linux game catalogue includes more than 65 titles across different genres. Desura supports multiple Linux distributions and allows automatic installation, updating and patching of games. Projects that are currently actively under development are also supported under Alpha Funding initiative.

Turkish company builds 65-inch Android 'tablet' with Honeycomb, 1080p support (video)

The Turkish company's prototype uses a 10-inch Android Honeycomb-based tablet to power a 65-inch LCD with 1080p support for basic gestures, like pinch and zoom. The display currently has two touch sensors, but a version with four sensors is on the way, which will bring multi-touch support.
