Linux Professional Institute Launches "Community Corner" with Jon "maddog" Hall
"We look forward to working with Jon on this initiative. Jon has long been a great supporter of LPI and a proponent of Linux certification and professionalism. We all recognize the value in telling some of the success stories around the professional use of Free and Open Source Software and Jon will bring a unique perspective and voice to this effort," said Jim Lacey, president and CEO of LPI. "LPI has been an important organization in promoting the professional use of Linux and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). Due to my travels to IT events around the world I frequently meet technology professionals who speak with some pride on having obtained their LPI certification. I plan to tell their stories and invite all LPI alumni to contact me to relate their own experience with LPI certification and how it assisted their professional careers," said Jon "maddog" Hall.
