Today, the AlmaLinux OS Foundation announced the release and general availability of AlmaLinux OS 10.1 (codename Heliotrope Lion) as the first point release of the latest AlmaLinux OS 10 series.

Highlights of the AlmaLinux OS 10.1 release include support for the Btrfs file system, SPICE support, the enablement of frame pointers by default, the enablement of the CRB repository by default for new AlmaLinux OS installations, and extended support for x86_64_v2 processors. Full Story |
