The ISO Loaded Hard Drive contains 246 Gigabytes of CD and DVD ISO files. There are 304 ISO files total; 140 different Linux distributions; 5 different BSDs; 1 project each from Darwin, Hurd, OpenSolaris, ReactOS, and Syllable; 3 architectures, x86, x86-64, and PowerPC; and ISO sizes ranging from a few MB to over 4 GB. They can be burned and installed, booted live, dual booted, run in emulation without burning, reviewed, compared, or redistributed.

304 ISO files, that become incredibly obsolete within a time-frame of 6 months (bar Debian stable). 304 ISO files means no time to try them all before they are superseded with their successor versions.Since development is still going at breakneck pace on GNU/Linux, an old ISO is no fun feature wise.
Instead of getting an ILHD drive, getting a decent Internet connection makes more sense to me...
