Root exploit found in binary NVIDIA driver

Various sites including slashdot and kernel trap are reporting that there's a root exploit in more than one of the nvidia binary drivers. Bad news if you (like me) use them to achieve 3d acceleration.

I guess it was inevitable that this would happen sooner or later. This is arguably one of the main drawbacks to closed source drivers. Now we have to wait for NVIDIA to fix the problem.
