Unless you have specifically created your own personal layout for LXer, today you have noticed that there is a new look. There's more features involved in this upgrade, discussed within.

It's been 10 months since I started LXer, and the layout hasn't changed much since then. Today I made some small changes, adding some color and making it a little nicer and friendlier. I hope you like it.

If you don't see the changes, then that means that you are viewing LXer with a custom layout. You can remove your layout from your "user's Page" area.

Also, I hacked together a layout browser script, so now you can view all the other innovative LXer layouts that other members have created. It's a fun waste of time to view them: check 'em out.

I'm planning some new features to LXer that will be ready in the coming weeks. If open source principles can make the largest gardening website online maybe we can do the same to make a real Linux resource. It's time to kick it up a notch or two. :-)

best, dave
