I haven't used ICQ in years, but wait... AOL owns ICQ now? Perhaps that explains why the AIM client has recently started adding boatloads of worthless buttons, popups, and other "features" not unlike ICQ did back in the post ICQ 98' days...

There is nothing wrong with ICQ, as longas you use GAIM, Kopete, or any other program to access it.

Oh I agree there. The *service* is just fine, it's the *client* that I can't stand. I use Gaim for everything, AIM included.
