a.k.a. Patriot Act - everything is a secret, except, perhaps, to our enemies. The ACLU is fighting some provisions in the current act and they cannot publish the provisions, because that would be breaking the law. Somehow I had though rights of the citizenry in the U.K. was an oxymoron - I ashamedly admit to my ignorance (and misplaced arrogance). |
