I am creating what I call a Cluster Builder. The goal is too have as much information on all the components necessary for building a cluster, large or small. I need help from those that use clusters for their picks of the best software and hardware used. For example whats everyone's favorite resource manager, Cluster Building Kit, OS, Hardware monitor, ect. Also, does anyone know of good links to sites that have information on different hardware and software options. What has made your life easier when it comes to clusters? I will post this cluster builder on my site. Finding information on all the different cluster options can be quite a trek throughout the web, so I want this to become a one stop place for cluster information. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just recently toyed with one using Debian Cluster Components. It was surprisingly easy.

You might want to look at SystemInstaller on Sourceforge. It works hand-in-hand with SystemImager and SystemConfigurator to build clusters. I've used these in a production environment and was very pleased.
