Paul Murphy is erratic, I wouldn't go so far as to compare him to the incomparable MOG. He's more like the guy who used to write a really terrible Linux column for ZDNet- I don't remember his name, he was the big bearded guy who used to co-write a popular Computer Shopper column, Hard-something? - anyway, this dweeb knew nothing about Linux or F/OSS and would publish all sorts of rubbish opinions, then get mad when readers got on his case. I remember one priceless response in the Linux forum- he actually claimed that it was his job to raise questions, not to give answers. God forbid a "journalist" should find answers. |
