"Yet with SCO and IBM butting heads in their ongoing IP (intellectual property) legal dispute over Linux, how can SCO keep working with IBM's Informix?

'There are some parts of IBM that continue to speak to us,' quipped Erik W. Hughes, SCO's senior director of product management and strategic alliances, during another meeting."

If there's a dead horse like SCO somewhere, you can bet Informix marketing is trying to ride it.

Dear LXers,

We, the three mares of Two Horse Ranch, respectfully protest the repeated allusions in these forums to "dead horse." It is upsetting to persons of our sensitive natures, so we are taking the liberty of suggesting the following alternatives:

-dead darl -dead skunk (possibly redundant with dead darl) -dead doornail -deadbolt -deadhead -grateful dead -drop dead Fred -dead can dance -dead kennedys -dead teenager -trail of dead -wake the dead -dead ends -dead fish -dead poetic -dead poppies -dead man walking

Thank you for your kind consideration.

Signed, Nikita Jody Page http://tuxcomputing.com/Horses_For_Sale/tn/nikita,_jody,_pag...
