Now that is a great boost to speed the proliferation of Linux. VMWare does about the same thing but it cost $150 per machine, Xen is free (isn't?). Having the two OS running at the same time would tremendously smooth the transition from Windows to Linux especially in the enterprise where many apps are still not available on Linux. I wonder what MS is going to do now to stop that?!!!

Xen is free, but I think the people who wrote it are going to sell support contracts to make money. More power to them on that idea. Now, I hope they can get Windows 2000 working as well. I won't use an operating system that needs activation and I would like to be able to run a few Windows apps that don't run in Wine.
