Take a look at Craig's ACX100/111 Guide for Linux.

http://www.houseofcraig.net/acx100_howto.php

Unfortunately, Suse loads ACX100 drivers for Texas Instruments' acx100 or acx111 based devices present in many cards including U.S. Robotics, D-Link G520+ and G650+ rev B, NetGear WG311v2, Abocom WG2400, smc_2435w, airlinkplus_awlc3025, hawking_hwp54g, and others:

and it looks like it should work. It takes forever to get these to work, if you can.

So, here's an annoyance:

You look at SUSE 10 and try wireless, it loads modules and says everytiing is fine and it just doesn't work at all.

It may travel well for Steve but Novell needs to work on this - BIG TIME.
