Just when you though they'd plumbed the depths...

Edit: I get it now. This is panic driven marketing and will greatly annoy Microsoft resellers in the UK, further damaging the companies image.

Nice one Microsoft, keep jerking those knees.

It may have come about because of some government agency saying that Microsoft could no longer restrict the selling of licenses. It happened on eBay of all places but on individual sales. The price of their products went down on eBat 50-75% as soon as their "Websafe" team had to quit telling eBay to shut down sales.
