How much does MS pay the Globe in ads each year? Who in the Mass. government receives contributions from MS? How much does that influence reps in the current proposed changes to state law regarding what the IT division can and cannot decide. Anybody know these answers and why is the press not asking these questions. Maybe they don't want to loose the ad business?

it might help. Just look at the five exhibits and the table of inluential people they pay.

It doesn't matter how much they pay in advertisements. It's have much they contribute to political candidates and how many lobbyists, private investigators and former members of the Intelligence Community they employ.

Imagine, for a moment, that the reason for the prosecution of Microsoft for playing "monopoly" was to bring the company into line, that is the line to donate to politicians. Microsoft didn't do much before the lawsuit, but they sure have been doing so since.
