No one has proved any MS involvement. But you have to question motive. Who benefited from Peter Quinn getting hammered by the Boston Globe. Who would have been motivated to to pass the data to the reporters? It had to be a leak. The reporters whouldn't have access t such records.

This is dirty.

This extends beyond the case in Mass.

CIOs anywhere are now less likely to propose something similar to Peter Quinn knowing that accusations will likely be leveled at them. Any past difficulty, true or false, will suffice as an excuse and family members will be considered open targets. Journalists have few scruples and will do almost anything.

This is a corrupt method of dealing.
