The two web sites referred to in the article are respectively riddled with factual errors and attacking straw men. Since neither of the sites seems interested in the facts, it is probably best just to ignore them completely. Encouraging others to rebut their "arguments" simply provides them with the thing they crave: publicity, which would allow them to spread their distorted views of the world yet further.

Indeed. The Internet gives voices to raving lunatics of all types. It doesn't mean anyone pays attention to them.
