might as well be called ms-sbc or ms-att

they are so in bed with microsoft they will go after any of microsoft's enemies.

That's interesting, but when they installed my DSL lines, the tech that came over said that they pay extra for people with Linux skills. So, I gave him a couple of distros to try. He wanted to know of a good book and asked lots of questions. He said that his best way of moving up in the company was to learn Linux.

When I placed a tech call to get my router partitioned, the level 2 support tech was a Linux guy.

tadelste, I get the same kind of service with the RR service and installation guys. Never a problem and they actually seem to pay better attention to what you tell them. Linux is definitely having a positive impact, at least on the service end of these companies.
