Same old same old Corporate BS.

Is IBM the friend of Linux and FOSS... Well... maybe, but sending another 60,000 jobs to India today didn't do anything to endear them to me.

The message is clear: Bill paid them to continue acting just as IBM did. You can order any computer you want, so long as it has MS Windows on it. They may offer Linux on single units outside the U.S., but the monopoly stronghold has been buttressed with billions, again.

I'm by no means convinced that the old IBM / MS connection doesn't still exist.
