The thing I really appreciate about grub is being able to make it do nearly anything from the boot prompt. No more needing to boot up on a CDRom to change that config file just *one* more time before you can load your machine!

That paperclip thing is actually one of the core features of WindowMaker's dock application :). It's just getting rare that anyone actually uses WindowMaker these days.

I've really been digging Amarok for audio playback lately. It's got a feature set that combines everything I like from other audio players. Although it probably does have quite a few deps in Gentoo.

Good to see you're getting on well with Gentoo!
