Running the NoScript extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/722/

allows you to maintain a whitelist of websites in which you feel safe allowing javascript to run. So if you install this extension you'll render these 30 stack overflow vulnerabilities to water under the bridge. I've been happily protected from javascript crap since 2005. :D

Unfortunately, too many sites don't work without Javascript anymore, so that's not a workable solution for me. :(
