Once I was invited to the "Oldenburger Pinguin Brunch" in the town of Oldenburg, some 60kms east-south-east of Bremen, Germany. The guy that invited me was some Martin Schulze, also known as "Joey". He was also doing real work in getting together / making happen the yearly LinuxTag, and he runs DWN, the Debian Weekly News.

It's nice to meet like this, and getting to know new people and what they do for free software. I really like going there, and once I took another one of these guys to help the Debian booth at FOSDEM (the free & open source developers' european meeting) in Brussels. Four months later, I spoke on LinuxTag myself.

These meetings and get-togethers can be real kick-offs :-)
