since dcparris asked for webstats regarding our blogs, here are my stats:

IE7: 7.4% IE6: 21.3% FF2: 33.2% FF1.5: ~22% FF1: ~2% Opera: 6.4% Seamonkey/Mozilla: 3.7% Safari: 0.8% Konqueror: 0.5%

Operating Systems: Windows XP: 73.2% (sigh!) Windows 2000: 9.5% Windows (others): 2.7% Ubuntu: 2.7% SuSE: 1% Debian 0.7% Linux (others or unidentified): 5.7% Mac OS X: 1.7%

This site is about Java and obviously mostly called from people at work (this can be deduced from the times people visit this site and from the remote hosts accessing my site). On weekends GNU/Linux, Mac and FF-usage is slightly higher.

What I personally find very interesting is the low number for Konqueror (only 5 per cent of all GNU/Linux users) and the nearly 50% market share of Safari amongst Mac users (IE is nearly non existent on the Mac according to _my_ log files).

Normal site address (non-ssl but on odd port):

My stats > your stats. This is for the main webserver at http://www.jejik.com

Windows 51 % Linux 42.4 % Unknown 5.1 % Macintosh 1.3 %

Firefox 73.7 % MS Internet Explorer 17 % Unknown 4.1 % Opera 2.6 % NetNewsWire 1.3 % Mozilla 0.4 % Links 0.3 % Wget 0.1 % Safari 0 %

These show elevated Windows/IE numbers because I also run another (small) website off this server. My secondary servers are pretty much exclusively Linux traffic. I run subversion and my debian/ubuntu repro off those.
