pretty common stuff that all these software companies do. there is a case in Iowa going on and used this same example in the case about installing a router and the software it came from changed the default browser settings. http://www.groklaw.net/article.php?story=20070110053805445 I personally think these companies should be raked over the coals for doing this kind of crap. - what gives them the right to change any settings on MY computer just because I want to use their software. pretty childish stuff. |
