I have Ubuntu set up on a laptop and connect to a windows XP box ( which unfortunately for some reason seems to be to new -read 1 month- to be able to run Linux distributions free of problems, i've tried roughly 6 distro's so far ). There is no problem what so ever in exchanging data between the two machines. I shared a folder, set security and did nothing else. So i do not understand what your problem is. Criticism is not a bad thing, but it really needs some foundation. |
