One of the few complaints I have about Sabayon is the default resolution of 1024x768. In order to use a different resolution, you have to type in res=1280x1024 (for example) as a boot option. Of course, this is only for the live DVD. Once you install it, you can change your xorg.conf to be whatever you want. However, if you add the res= line on boot from the live DVD and then install, the resolution you chose will be the one that gets installed.

Anyway, I feel that these screenshots would have been better if they were at a more reasonable resolution than 1024x768, but then again, that wouldn't be giving the viewer an accurate idea of what Sabayon looks like by default.

Shouldn't you just say "so last century"? It's equally, if not more, true; and has a better ring to it.

@ArcherB,

Stop your whining and enjoy the trip to Retroville ... sheesh ... Next thing you know, he'll want something like sound working "out of the box".

I'm happy for those of you who obviously have a zillion pixels on your gaming screen. But not everyone is playing games. Some of us have to work for a living, and our companies are just getting around to "last millenium" resolutions.
