I have seen those classes and was always curious as to their effectiveness. I accept, of course, that the #1 reason that any course is effective or ineffective has to do with the attitude of the learner. Beyond that, however, I had always wondered how well the material was presented, how thorough it was in its scope, and how likely a diligent student was to actually learn from it. Does anyone here have experience with the O'reilly site? I've got a bunch of their books, and the Linux Administration book was full of great ideas and taught me a lot. I would be very interested in some of the classes focusing on programing and shell scripting.

I've also been curious as to the classes at SpiderTools.com. Anyone with experience there?
