Sun co-founder and chairman is Scott McNealy (note the correct spelling of his last name), not Scott McNeil as the person submitting this wrote. From the first paragraph of http://www.tectonic.co.za/view.php?src=rss&id=1502
Quoting:LinuxWorld reports that Sun Microsystems is considering releasing OpenSolaris under a GPL (General Public Licence) licence, according to Sun co-founder and chairman, Scott McNealy.

Not clear from this article whether or not Sun plans to eventually go fully GPL (GPLv3?), even if it adopts GPL+CDDL. Also as an aside, just wondering what Ian Murdock's exact role is, in Sun's possibly adopting GPLv2/GPLv3??
