It is an interesting article, but it doesn't really tell much.
Even with 38.000 votes, it does not represent the linux market by far.
Take that if there would be ONLY 380.000 linux users, then only 10% would have answered the poll.
If there would be 3.800.000 linux users, then only 1% would have voted.
As I said, interesing, but not real. on a side note.....the reason PCLinuxOS did so poor is that < me and the other 6.000 PCLinuxOS users > didn't know there was a poll on --grin-grin-- |

nikkels - You sweet, innocent, naive little fanboi. You may not have noticed, but there are only 17 Linux users in the entire world. It seems like more, but it really is only 17. I've got it on good authority from The Enderle Group and others. |

17 users hmm... That's probably within an order of magnitude ( you know 1 is on the order of Pi, Pi is on the order of 10, ...). You really know a distro is popular when you get people saying things like: "Ubuntu! Yeah I want Ubuntu! Uh, what is an Ubuntu?" |

Uhm, yes, Linux only has 17 users. The other 7 users insist it's GNU/Linux. |
