Of ignoring Matt Hartley, because this "article" is too sloppy and plain old bad to ignore. If he would just read spend three minutes with Google he would know that wireless in Linux is well on its way to becoming excellent. The entire kernel wireless subsystem has been rewritten, nasty binary blobs are being banished, and more vendors are coming on board.
