Perhaps even more meaningful than a code fork:

Quoting: We decided community is as important, if not more important, than technology...KlikIt Linux is not a fork of Linspire, Freespire, or CNR. To be fair, there is a fork aspect. That is the community. At this time, the majority of people in the KlikIt community consist of former Freespire and Linspire board members, insiders, and community members. Following that is Xandros refugees. So, in that regard...we are a fork. We have taken the best element of Linspire and Xandros...the users.

To quote a great technocrat and former world leader; "If you come to a fork in the road, take it".

Being the most NON-geek Linux user in the galaxy, people always want to know why the Colonel tries to do Linux at all. tuxchick just highlighted the answer, COMMUNITY.

Yeah, one guy started it and a hand full or maybe two hands full of folks have been the torch bearers for the most part, it's still a community thing. It is not a "me" world, it is a WE world, at least for us Linux users.

KlikIt Linux. I will try it in the spirit in which it was conceived.
