Good idea. Could be done in any country, cheap. The concept: Take the mountain to Mohamed. A group of presentable Linux Guru's (not always the same people) travel around and push Linux/FOSS.

The team will: Give talks about Linux, Free Software and Open Source Install Fest Present videos and materials about Linux/FOSS Hand out free CD's and have material for sale (books?)

Where? The usual suspects of course Universities Tech schools Non-profits Business and industry Government offices

Seems like a well planned road-show. They send out advance materials for promoting the gig and bring swag to lure the unwashed and disenfranchised. The Colonel dusts off his passport while looking for that old backpack.

They are welcome to tour out here, unfortunately Australian isn't as accessible a language as Spanish.
