Also for Linux games, at FOSDEM there were several talks about Linux game development platforms (some of them multiplayer) and talks about 3d rendering. Combine both and the next five consecutive January's we might say "this year will be the year of Linux gaming'

Yeah, things are definitely looking up. At FOSDEM I went to an X.org dev talk about the Nouveau drivers. It's looking pretty good. They showed off Alien Arena running on the latest Nouveau. I have pics. I'll post them along with the article later on.

Everybody do your bit for Intel and Amd/Ati. Buy and recommend Intel solutions that contain their graphics technology or buy Ati cards that are covered under the documentation. Tell the vendors that you are purchasing these products as a direct result of these companies stance towards FOSS.
