For those who haven't tried Tasty Menu in action, here is a Flash to see how it works.

You will see the difference in implementation of Linux Mint and the other distros who still use KickOff menu. (Mandrake, Suse, etc...)

My friend, the one with Cerebral Palsy really likes that menu style. I still hate it.

I was a long time SuSE user. I remember when KDE 2.0 came out and how much faster it was than the 1.x series. The KDE team had worked closely with Qt to improve many core routines for the release.

It looks like 4.0 may do the same for 3.x speed and stability. That is great for the users.

But watching that menu makes me glad I stopped using KDE and use XFCE now.
