I've been playing with the Linux ReNoise for a while.

What the heck does an old coot do with renoise? Now I'm curious.

May be a shock to you, but music's been around as long as people could bang sticks on rocks and hum.

Wow, even the "back to the 60's" programs doesn't show people banging sticks on rocks (only The Who comes to mind, banging on everything except rocks), so you must even be older than I was already afraid of! At least it explains why it's called rock-music. You see, LXer is very educational...

You've never heard the Kansas lyric "Cause Rockin' and Rollin', it's only howlin' at the Moon"?

Music has been around since before we were even people.
