I went to Mozilla's Firefox download page and there it was Firefox 3.0 for Linux, mac and Windows |

It was because of the time of availability. Heaven forbid admins get some sleep at night. :) |

I sleep during the day. ;) I've seen what the author is talking about though. 10 AM pacific time is when it was said it will be released, which was 7 PM my time. Almost an hour if not more later it was still offering Firefox 2. I guess it's not a big deal, but you know.. if you've been planning something like this for so long and want to make a world record in the number of downloads then you might as well take every single minute of those 24 hours you can get instead of being a whole hour late... though I guess they can just count the amount of time they've been late longer than the end hour. :P Cheers |
