The gui is already also in debian in testing (soon becoming stable) and unstable http://packages.qa.debian.org/s/system-config-lvm.html it will be in the next version of ubuntu due in October : http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/system-config-lvm So, this package is not RedHat only now.... |

OK, thanks for your comments. All is getting a bit better it seems; Grub2 booting LVM, lvm-config spreading to more distro's - at least Gentoo and Debian I heard, and the Aperi team working on a new Eclipse-based GUI. |
