I don't recall screaming, or saying that this is unacceptable. Actually I acknowledged in my posting that this is not a final release. I do think that getting the word out is important. If more people are aware of the situation then the chances of getting it fixed and fixed well are increased. If this kind of response had been given to other kernel performance drops then the Linux system today might be a higher performance system. |
