The writer damns linux with faint praise, admitting the performance and cost advantages, but then goes on to make an impassioned case for microsoft.

He throws in some really tired old linux fud - some real knee slappers like "where can you go for software updates?" (Every linux distro has a built-in software update mechanism) "there are so many distros" (who cares? All you need to think about is the one you're using) and "where can you find someone to support it" (There are lots of linux savvy techies out there, just take a peek) and "there is no tech net for linux!" (LOL!)

Annoying IMHO, but interesting in that he does admit some advantages of linux up front.

The best thing about Linux-distro-style package management is the ability to update the whole system through applications designed for that purpose.
