Hmm, maybe I shouldn't have posted the same message thrice. Or shall we run our comments of three threads in parallel?

"I repeat myself when under stress I repeat myself when under stress I repeat...

The more I look at it The more I like it..."

"We have all been here before. Didn't we, didn't we repeat, repeat? Repeat, repeat"

(Will anyone know both song references?)

Quoting: Quoted: "I repeat myself when under stress I repeat myself when under stress I repeat...

The more I look at it The more I like it..."

Indiscipline, by King Crimson
Correct
Quoting:"We have all been here before. Didn't we, didn't we repeat, repeat? Repeat, repeat"

Deja Vu, by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young
Incorrect. They do have the line "We have all been here before" but not the rest of it.

Let's see if this helps:

"We have all been here before. Didn't we, didn't we repeat, repeat? Repeat, repeat

There is nothing new at all Isn't there? Isn't there? Repeat, repeat. Repeat, repeat"

caitlyn,

I am stumped. I did a search, but nothing I found entirely matches the lyrics you have listed. No cookie for me.

My guess.. Peter Baumann, Tangerine Dream, "repeat, repeat".

Actually, it isn't a guess. It is the fruit of an obsessive pursuit.

Ken, treat yourself to a cookie. It's a Peter Baumann solo album as he had left Tangerine Dream several years earlier. It is, indeed, the title track from his album "Repeat Repeat", which was an early '80 synth pop album. It did get some airplay in Florida where I lived at the time and probably elsewhere so I figured somebody would remember it.

Ouch! I wasn't obsessive enough. Oh well, I'll treat myself to half a cookie.
