The company is dead. The distro is not.

Mandriva the company has been a basket case for a long time. The distro lives on in two forks: Mageia and ROSA Linux. It's conceivable that Mandriva itself could continue as a community distro based on this announcement. This result is no surprise but proclaiming "Mandriva is dead" is just plain wrong. |
